 As an Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), NEXTEL obtains bulk access to network services at wholesale rates, then sets retail prices independently. A MVNO may use its own customer service, billing support systems, marketing, and sales personnel, or it could employ the services of a mobile virtual network enabler. We provide digital, wireless communications services, to business enterprises such as fleet and dispatch customers, but we now market to all potential wireless customers. The most notable distinction for Nextel is the iconic “chirp” sound that comes from its unique instant push-to-talk “walkie-talkie” feature on its phones .
